The rich in-state rivalry between UW-Madison and Marquette University has created a new summer tradition on the softball field. This annual matchup brings together Badger and Golden Eagle alumni and current athletes from various sports to support several deserving charities, including the LC DockHounds Foundation, the Wisconsin Athletic Hall of Fame Foundation, the Kai Lermer Memorial Fund, and the Nicole Ellis Foundation.

The 2024 game saw Marquette claim victory in a thrilling finish, as a two-out, two-run home run by Novak capped an exciting day on the field. This year, the Badgers made history, with UW-Madison winning the 2025 game for the first time! The atmosphere was electric, with fans enjoying meet and greet sessions, entertainment, and opportunities to interact with the players, all while contributing to important charitable causes.
